Third time of seeing you and you just keep getting better! Loved the set, think you all do a fantastic tribute and the venue was ideal. Led Zeppelin were the BEST ever so it's great to see you play their music live. Hope you play there again very soon.

Great show fellas.
You put a lot of so called top bands to shame.
Think you should do some original material because you're musicianship is so good.
Raff you could be one of the great guitar players
All the best for the future

... I was at the Reading gig on Saturday night. (40 something air guitar in the stalls ... not the only one thankfully)
I'm from Oz originally and never saw Led Zep live. Not that I was looking for comparisons, but I thought you guys were fantastic. Great value (even with the freebie fire alarm clearout!).
I hope you got a buzz from the Reading crowd as well. I gather it was one of your larger gigs to date. I would come again so hopefully you can get back. (Robert Plant has played the Hexagon in Reading, so maybe he could guest next time!!)
Anyway, thanks again for a great night. Keep it up.

I was at Zep's last UK gig in 1979 and enjoyed myself no less on Saturday night - I read about it in last week's Basingstoke Gazette and only decided to go at about 7 o'clock - according to the chap at the booking desk I got the last seat.
I spent several of the songs holding my mobile phone so my brother in Nottingham (another huge Zep fan from the Knebworth era) could hear it and despite the technology he is already talking about coming down for the Kingston gig in June.
To be honest, the sound up in the balcony was very muddy - possibly due to the acoustics of the hall - and if you didn't know the songs it probably wouldn't have been anywhere near as enjoyable. You couldn't hear a word that Luke said, and hardly a word he sang all night. Even so you could tell the Musicianship was excellent, the overall sound of the band (especially Luke's voice) and the general look was sufficiently reminiscent to bring it all back.
I look forward to bringing all the Zep fans I know to every show I can get to from now on.

Hey guys, its Tom Earl here!
The concert was AMAZING on Saturday, I was there, but I'm a coward (always have been), so i didnt speak up when ou called my name out. Anyway, you were great, I'll be looking out for you on the programmes of the local concert halls, so could you mail me if you're playing in Reading/Basingstoke again?
Thanks,
from Tom

P.S. Raff - How much was you Epiphone doubleneck?

Raff: I bought it 2nd hand from a free ads paper in Reading 4 years ago for £250. I then spent another£250 converting to a left handed guitar!

Hi Guys,
I just want to say that I thought your performance on Saturday night was truly amazing - that absolute master :-) , I saw the pseudo 'Page & Plant' in the Turks head a week before which is what made me buy the tickets for the Reading Town Hall venue. I had't listened to any Led Zep in a while and the evening in the Turks made me dig out my Zeppelin collection the next day.

(Raff and Luke did an acoustic set at the Turks pub in Reading on Friday 21st Feb to promote the concert hall show)

My Mate told me that the whole band were playing in the Turks head so I was a little disappointed to then learn that it was just a duo playing that night. However when I heard you guys play I then changed my tune and bought a ticket for myself and my friend. I've been well into Led Zep since I was about 15, unfortunately with me being only 26 years old I was not old enough to ever go to a Led Zep concert back in the day.

After Saturday night I almost feel that I could brag to my mates that I saw Led Zep back in the day, a truly wonderful tribute to a wonderful band. I have seen some Videos of Led Zep playing live and in my opinion you have taken their music to a higher level without insulting it. It waws all brilliant and I refer specifically to No Quarter and Kashmir - Fu*king MASTER (what was that musical bit that you played before Kasmir called - I cant rememeber??? was it White Summer or something ? ) - anyway I thought it was amazing - absolute top marks to all you guys for a superb evening.

Please Please Please Pleeeeeese play at Reading Town hall again so that I can buy my Parents some tickets as I know they'd love it :-) I shall be recommending you to any Zep Fans I know as you bloody deserve it.

Thank you all for a great evening !!
Best Wishes
Matt

Dear Lads
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Saturday night. I didn't want it to end!
Being too young to have ever seen them live (I'm 25), you're the next best thing! I came out of there feeling like I'd just seen the real McCoy.
Robert Plant mark 2 - blinding job! You had all Plant's mannerisms down to a T, and your voice was pretty damn good (you had a hard act to follow). Jimmy Page mark 2 - man, can you play that guitar! Was pleased to see the bow making an appearance.
The rest of you guys did a brilliant job at recreating the distinctive Zeppelin sound, and I was well disappointed when you finished your set - thanks for the 3 song encore though!
Please come to Reading again!
Cara

Guys
Despite the inconvenience of the fire alarm I have to give you top marks for a great show. I took my 22 year old daughter who is a big LZ fan and she thought the atmosphere was something else.

I hope you will come this way again in the not too distant future as I am sure there will be a lot of people hearing about your group after this performance.
Chris
