AUCTION RULES

The process on bidding for the auction items is outlined as follows:

1. Email bids should be submitted in £ Sterling to Graeme Hutchinson at graeme.hutchinson6@btinternet.com All bids must be in whole £’s.

2. Graeme will confirm back to the bidder whether their bid is the highest or not.

3. The current highest bid for each item will be shown. Bidders will still remain anonymous but potential new bidders will be able to see the amount they need to beat.

4. On the 7th November, the online auction will close at 2pm and the live auction will be held at the Fairfield Halls at around 7pm. Each item will be auctioned as part of the live auction. If the highest bid in the live auction is lower than the highest email bid then the highest email bid wins. Correspondingly, if the winning bid in the live auction is higher then the highest email bid then the live auction bid wins.
NOTE: In the event that a high bid is tied then the first bid submitted wins.

5. All postage and packaging cost for winning email bids will be paid by the winning bidder.

6. So there can be no ambiguity, we will publish the email bids log after the auction has finished so there is a clear audit of who bid what and when.
